Corey Bird
Corey resides from Pinch, WV. In 2013, he ended his high school baseball career by leading Herbert Hoover to a state championship and being named WV Gatorade Player of the Year. Corey played for Marshall University for three years where he was named 2nd Team All Conference USA in 2016 before being drafted in the 7th round to the Miami Marlins organization. He was called up to the MLB in July 2021 and played for the Charleston Dirty Birds in 2022. Corey has a Sports Management degree from Marshall University and is now pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He coaches hitting, outfield, and speed training at The Yard which he also manages!

Alex Jarrell
Alex started his baseball career in his hometown of South Charleston, WV, where he was awarded First Team All-State for the Black Eagles in 2018. He went on to play baseball for 6 years at the NAIA, D2, and D1 collegiate levels. In 2020, he led his conference in ERA at Ohio Valley University before transferring to Andrew College where his team won the junior college championship while being ranked #23 in the country. Alex then transferred to Murray State University. He has an Associates Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Sports Management. Alex now works in construction for his family’s business. He has trained whole teams and individuals for 3 years in pitching, hitting, and weight training.

Ra’Mone Tate
Ra’Mone is from Cleveland, Ohio. During his high school baseball tenure, he made the All City team 3 times and the All State team twice before playing at Marshall University from 2007-2010. He and his wife of eleven years whom he met in college have two children. He works as a Nabisco Sales Representative and spends his free time with his family, working out, golfing, and bowling. Fun fact: he is one of ten children! Ra’Mone specializes in coaching infield and agility.

Ryan Beasley
Ryan is from Elkview, WV where he made the All State Baseball Team for the Herbert Hoover Huskies in 2021 and 2022 as well as the All Conference Team x2 and All Kanawha Valley Team x2. He played for West Virginia State University from 2022-2024 and is now a Junior at Marshall University studying Exercise Science. In his free time, he enjoys riding his Side by Side. Ryan has been working with pitchers for two years.

Luke Samuel
Luke hails from Huntington, WV and has been playing baseball since he was four years old. During his time as a Cabell Midland High School Knight, he won back-to-back state championships and earned the Johnny Bench Award due to his perfect fielding percentage, National Honor Society commendation, and 1st Team All-State recognition. Luke is a freshman at Marshall University and works at Dick’s Sporting Goods. He teaches catching.

J’nae Jefferson
From Barboursville, WV, J’nae played softball at Cabell Midland High School where she was named First Team All State in 2005 and 2006. She went on to play infield at Division I Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. During her time at Liberty, she was named All Tournament Team in her conference in 2008 and 2010 VASID All State First Team and First Team All Conference. After college, J’nae coached hundreds of girls at her own softball facility which she operated for ten years. Over 50 of the girls she coached has played at the collegiate level. Life keeps her busy these days as a mom to baseball-playing twin boys. She teaches defense and hitting to ages 7 & up.

Allison Rager
Allison is from Elkview, WV. In 2014 she led the Huskies to their first ever High School State Championship and earned the title of WV Pitcher of the Year. She then pitched for Morehead State University for 3 years where she made the All Rookie Team in 2016 and First Team OVC in 2017. She finished her college career at Carson-Newman University where she was awarded the titles of SAC Pitcher of the Year in the NFCA, All-Region Second Team, and D2CCA All-Region First Team. After college, Allison has been staffed by Carson-Newman and WV State University (Softball Assistant), Ole Miss (Graduate Assistant), and Marshall University (Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator). She now works as a Director of Operations and coaches pitching.
